Mars Area Primary Center will welcome Butler County Symphony Orchestra for a special concert at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26.
The orchestra will present the symphonic fairy tale, “Peter and the Wolf” by Sergei Prokofiev, illustrating each character with different instruments. The educational outreach program will introduce students to the four instrument families — strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion — and discuss the important leadership role of the conductor.
