Mars Area Primary Center will accept completed Kindergarten Registration Packets for the 2020-2021 School Year, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, April 20-May 1.
Packets should be placed in a sealed envelope and may be delivered to a Drop-Off Window located to the left of the school’s main entrance and marked with bright yellow signage. Parents are asked to maintain social distancing when dropping off packets.
Any parents who received a Kindergarten Registration Lottery Ticket are asked to staple the ticket to the front page of the completed registration packet and to clearly print the lottery number on the outside of the sealed envelope.
Note: The selection of AM or PM Kindergarten session is done through a lottery system. Once the maximum class size is reached, the session will be closed and individuals may be placed on a waiting list for their session preference. The starting lottery number is 482.
After Friday, May 1, all completed Kindergarten Registration Packets must be mailed to Attn: Kris Barr, registrar; Mars Area School District; 545 Route 228; Mars, Pa. 16046. Packets are available online via the “Mars Area Primary Center” page at www.marsk12.org.
