Mars Area School District elementary students (Grades K-6) are invited to join the District’s Kids of Steel running team.

Team members will be asked to run a total of 25 miles (or approximately 1 to 3 miles per week) and to record their miles at home. Participants will then join in the 1.2-mile Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh Kids Marathon to be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, on the North Shore. 

Cost is $25. Students may register for the race online at https://p3r.org/races/chick-fil-a-pittsburgh-kids-marathon. When registering, students should enter “Yes” in the “Are you participating in our Kids of Steel program?” field; then, in the next field, students should select “Mars K-6th.”.
