the access road connecting the Mars Area School District Administration Office and the Mars Area Primary Center cafeteria entrance parking lots to Mars Area Elementary School will be temporarily CLOSED from 9 a.m. to 3:10 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, through Friday, May 24, as well as on Tuesday, May 28.

The access road will be temporarily closed to ensure the safety of those Mars Area Elementary School students, who will be walking along the access road to and from the softball fields near the Administration Office parking lot for the school’s annual kickball tournament. In addition, the access road, along with the rear parking lot at the Administration Office will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, during Mars Area Primary Center’s Olympic Fun Day.

Please note that this closure may effect the route that some parent(s)/guardian(s) take during morning drop-off; midday kindergarten pick-up/drop-off; and/or when picking up students with an early release or at the end of the school day. Therefore, all parent(s)/guardian(s) are reminded that, during the dates/times listed above, you will need to access Mars Area Primary Center and Mars Area Elementary School campuses via the main Route 228 entrance or by way of the Doc's Way access road (via Three Degree Road).
