FIRST DAY REMINDERS
The Primary Center staff is so excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year with you all tomorrow! Just a reminder, parents are welcome to walk their children to their classroom this week — between 8:35 and 9 a.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Aug. 23-25
If your child is excited to ride the bus, you may meet them here at the Primary Center and escort them in as well.
CAFETERIA NEWS
First graders wishing to buy lunch, the cafeteria accepts cash and checks made out to the "Mars Area Cafeteria Fund". It is suggested that parents send the cash or check in a clearly marked and sealed envelope. Parents also have the option to pay for your child’s lunch electronically by enrolling in myschoolbucks.com. It is an internet service you can use to add money to your child’s breakfast/lunch account and also check the status of your child’s account. Cafeteria Prices:
FREE – Breakfast – K-6 Students
$2.80 – Lunch – includes milk
$0.65 – Milk Only
Any À la carte items will be an additional charge

- First Grade Parent Orientation is Thursday, August 24, 6:00-8:00PM.
SCHOOL DAY SCHEDULE
Parent drop-off will be at 8:35 AM. No students will be permitted to enter any of the elementary buildings until 8:35 AM. If a student needs to eat breakfast, they will still have that opportunity. Breakfast will be served from 8:35-9:00 AM.
AM Kindergarten: 9:00-11:40AM
PM Kindergarten: 12:45-3:25PM
First Grade: 9:00AM-3:25PM
During the first three (3) days of school, parents/guardians may also walk their child to his/her classroom. If your child wishes to ride the bus to school, you may drive and meet them at the front of the building and walk them in as well.
