Mars Area Primary Center paraprofessional Cindy McCaul, is retiring after 29 years in Mars Area School District.
McCaul joined the District as lunch room monitor in 1995, before moving to a paraprofessional position in 2000. As a paraprofessional, she offered skills reinforcement and Title I reading support services for elementary students.
“Cindy was one of our veteran staff members, with 29 years of service, who helped out wherever it was needed,” says Jessica Semler, Mars Area Primary Center principal “We were fortunate to have her as our ‘skills reinforcement coordinator,’ who helped thousands of students to build their reading skills over the years. We will miss Cindy tremendously.”
In her retirement, McCaul plan to spend time with family, especially her new grandson, Tristan.
