Mars Area School District’s schools (K-8) will be collecting leftover Halloween candy, Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Tuesday, Nov. 7, to benefit Mission from Mars.

Donations of candy, in its original wrapper(s) and unopened, may be dropped off during school hours. Participating schools include:

• Mars Area Middle School
• Mars Area Centennial School
• Mars Area Elementary School
• Mars Area Primary Center

All donations will be delivered to Mission from Mars, which provides supports for Pittsburgh’s homeless population. For more information, contact the individual school building.
