Due to a gas leak along Brickyard Road adjacent to Mars Area Primary Center, as a precautionary measure, all students and staff members were relocated to Mars Area Elementary School, this morning (Wednesday, Nov. 15).

Please note that at no time was the health and safety of the student body and/or staff members at Mars Area Primary Center or at any other District buildings in danger. Mars Area Primary Center was evacuated out of an abundance of caution.

Peoples Gas quickly arrived at the scene of the leak to shut off the gas and has Mars Area School District the "all clear" to return students and staff to Mars Area Primary Center. Students and staff returned to the school at approximately 10 a.m.
