Mars Area Primary Center students are painting tiles that  will decorate the ceiling of English as a Second Language teacher Melissa Steiner’s classroom.

 

Students in kindergarten and first grade, with some help from parents/guardians, transformed the ceiling tiles into the flags from their countries of origin including Brazil, Guatemala, Kyrgyzstan, India, El Salvador, Argentina, Mexico and China.

 

The finished flags will be on display on the ESL Room during the school’s Open House tonight (Thursday, April 18).
