Mars Area Primary Center offered a “We’re ‘WILD’ About Positive Behavior Day” event on March 28 to celebrate students’ positive behavior during the third nine weeks of the school year.
The activity, offered through the school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) program, served a reward for students, who earning enough Positive Planets tickets to fill up the “Principal’s Club,” which keeps a record of those students who have been recognized for positive actions and behaviors.
At the event, students could create clay animals, make scratch art animal masks, or color a mural. Other activities included LEGO building, dancing and a photo booth. Each student was also awarded an “animal certificate” to recognize their hard work and positive attitude toward demonstrating “The Mars Way!”
