Students in two Mars Area Primary Center classrooms had an opportunity to coat their principal in silly string on May 15.

During the school’s 2026 American Heart Association fundraiser (Feb. 1-28), which collected $9,013.70 for the cause, Jessica Semler set forth a Principal’s Challenge. She offered the class in each grade level that brought in the highest number of registrants for the Kids Heart Challenge an  opportunity to “silly string” their principal.

The winning classrooms were Stephanie King’s PM kindergarten class, which raised $1,148.99, and Emily Diani’s first grade class ($933.19).
