Online Enrollment

Registration for Mars Area Primary Center's Kindergarten is accomplished via Mars Area School District's Online Enrollment system. Registration for the following school year's Kindergarten Program typically opens in March-April.

Note: Online registration for Mars Area Primary Center’s 2024-2025 Kindergarten Program will open at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 15. As part of the online student enrollment process, parents/guardians will be asked to select their (AM or PM) kindergarten session preference (Step 6). The time stamp when each completed application is submitted, as well as the selected preference, will be used to determine into which kindergarten session a student is placed. Once the maximum class size is reached, the session will be closed and individuals may be placed on a waiting list for their session preference. Kindergarten is open to children who will be 5 years old on or before Sunday, Sept. 1. Additional Events

In addition to registration, the Mars Area Primary Center typically holds a:

• Kindergarten Preview (January-February) for students planning to register for the school's Kindergarten Program and their parents;
• "PC Play Date - Watermelon Welcome" event (April) for students registered to attend Kindergarten Program and their parents; and, a
• Pre-Kindergarten Assessments by appointment for students registered for kindergarten (May)

Dates/information pertinent to kindergarten registration and corresponding events will be communicated to parents and posted on the District's website well in advance.
